Partnering with Laughter Africa can give your company great exposure. By building a relationship with Laughter Africa you let the public know that your company cares about street children. This could help you increase sales, build customer loyalty and enhance your company image and profile as well as introducing you to new contacts, expanding your customer base. A partnership with Laughter Africa could also demonstrate your company’s commitment to your Corporate Social Responsibility policy. Did you know that 86% of consumers feel more positive towards a company they see doing something to make the world a better place (Institute of Fundraising).
No matter the size of your company, there are plenty of ways to get involved including:
Fundraising
Get your employees involved: the options are endless so there will be something to suit your staff, whatever their interests. From cake sales to marathons to black tie dinners. We’ll support you every step of the way and provide you with resources to make it a great success. Fundraising is also good for encouraging staff motivation, team building and staff morale. Some companies offer a further incentive to their staff and customers by agreeing to match any amounts raised. You could even choose Laughter Africa as your Charity of the Year.
Make a company donation
As a company, you can choose to make a one-off charitable donation or regular donations. Corporate gifts are deductable from a company’s corporation tax.
Sponsorship
Sponsoring one of our Laughter Africa events or activities is a good way to associate a brand with Laughter Africa. It also provides a unique opportunity to communicate with our supporters. By sponsoring our events or activities, you will help us to save costs so we can spend your money where it’s most needed.
Pro bono work or gifts in kind
Some organisations are able to donate goods or services that may be of value to Laughter Africa in the UK or overseas. These may include raffle prizes, vouchers, printing, advertising space, professional services or supplies.
Expertise and knowledge from the private sector is of invaluable help to Laughter Africa. Whether it’s marketing, management consultancy, finance, legal services or technology, your employees could help us by donating some of their time to work on a specific project or share an area of their expertise.
Payroll giving
Companies can arrange for their employees to make a direct, tax-free donation to Laughter Africa through payroll giving. Their gift comes straight from the payroll so it’s as straightforward as paying National Insurance and is easy to set up.
Affinity partnerships and cause-related marketing
If a company has an ethical outlook or products and services that are likely to appeal to Laughter Africa supporters, then an affinity partnership with Laughter Africa could be something for your company to consider. An affinity partnership usually takes the form of a commission for each sale to one of our supporters.
Meanwhile, cause-related marketing allows companies to feature a donation to Laughter Africa in their marketing to existing and prospective customers.
